The first ForCity Classic trams, which Škoda Transportation delivers to Chemnitz, entered passenger transport in September 2019. 5M delivers floors, window panels, air conditioning tunnels and more to these trams. Low-floor vehicles with a length of 31.4 m and a width of 2650 mm have a capacity for 281 passengers including 64 seated. Permanent magnet motors allow a maximum speed of 80 km / h and all trams are also equipped with air conditioning.
